Will there be a Level 3 Blessing workshop?

A Level 3 Blessing workshop already took place for couples participating in this Cosmic Blessing. If you have not yet done the Level 3 education, you can take the course online through the MatchNet education portal.

How do we apply?

Complete your online application and make the Blessing Offering by March 27.
The online application consists of the Matching Candidate Application, Matching Report Application, and Blessing Ceremony Application. To learn more and submit your applications please create a login through the BFM Education portal.

Who can participate?

Matched Couples
Matched couples must complete all the requirements to receive the Blessing, i.e., the online application in the BFM Education portal. It is ideal and preferred that couples participate physically in the same location.

Please contact bfmadmin@unification.org if it is difficult for your couple to participate in the same location.

Where can I purchase a Blessing ring?

It's best to purchase a ring as early as possible. To order a Blessing ring, send an email to mcbrunk@verizon.net. Please make sure to include the following info on your email:

• Ring style name & ring size (right hand)
• Metal color preference (yellow or white gold)
• Diamond or no center diamond
• Inscription message if applicable (40 characters at most)
• Recipient mailing address
• And whether or not you have already sent the payment

Make sure to send a money order as soon as you place the order. Email the tracking number to Michael so that he knows when the money order is arriving. (A priority mail will do just fine.) Remember that it might take at least two weeks for you to receive your rings.

Where will the Blessing take place?

The Blessing Ceremony will take place in Korea and be broadcast live throughout the world in local community churches. Please communicate with a local pastor about your interest in participating.

What is the dress code?

Dress code is to be determined. We will update this page as soon as we know.

Will there be Special Grace?

There will be no Special Grace before this Blessing. However, please contact us at matching@unification.org if you have any specific questions about your situation.

What is the 40-Day Separation and is it required?

The 40-Day Separation period is a devotional period following the Blessing Ceremony before beginning your sexual relationship as a Blessed Couple.

This period can be a beautiful experience for couples who use this time to focus on their internal intimacy and connection, and on that foundation, build on their physical intimacy after 40 days.

Further, this devotional period is an important way to offer your relationship to God before offering yourselves to your spouse.

We strongly recommend that all couples participate in the Love & Integrity program during the 40 days after the Blessing. Learn more about the program here.

Is it required?

For first-generation couples, the 40-Day Separation is a necessary condition established by True Parents in order to complete the change of blood lineage process.

For second-generation couples who are Blessed Children, the 40-day separation is highly recommended.

What are the COVID-19 regulation guidelines?

We strongly request that all local organizers follow state and local guidelines regarding COVID-19. In addition to following local guidelines, all Blessing venues are requested to do the following:

• Follow local capacity regulations
• Couples and observers must be seated 6 feet away from
  other couples or observers
• For safety reasons, all couples and observers should wear facemasks
• Provide hand sanitizer and extra masks for those who do not have any
