MatchNet CONNECT is a 6-week program for Singles & Parents to get educated about the Matching & Blessing and connect with other parents and singles.
We will provide daily content for you and your family to consume during this program. The most important aspect of this daily education is to have give and take about the content. If you are doing the program together as a family, this is especially important as you develop the habit of communicating well about topics around Matching & Blessing.
Week 5 consists of working on your Matching Plan. If you don't yet have a Matching Plan, this is the perfect opportunity to work on it and get on the same page (literally!).
If you already have a Matching Plan, please use this time as an opportunity to further your discussions about your plan and see if there's anything else that comes up. You can also include other members of your Matching Team in your discussions.

MatchNet Connect is a 6-week program that consists of three elements:
1. Weekly Webinars
We will meet every Wednesday at 8:30 PM (EST) to hear a presentation from an experienced Matching & Blessing educator. The content will help you have clarity and confidence moving forward in your Matching Process or preparation for the Blessing through informative, helpful, and motivational presentations.
If you cannot join us on Wednesdays at 8:30 PM (EST), you should still register! We will organize sessions at other times during the week to watch the recording and discuss.
2. Weekly Connection
An important part of this program is the connection and discussions with other Singles or Parents in a group setting (depending on who you are). We will have separate discussions every week just for participants just like you.
For singles, the focus of the discussions is primarily to get to know each other as brothers and sisters in a group setting. If you decide to pursue a Matching Process, that is a possibility too, as long as your Matching Team is on the same page.
For parents, this is a great opportunity to connect and learn from other like-minded parents who are in the same situation as you.
Trained Matching Supporters will also be ready to answer questions and provide additional support to you.
3. Daily Readings
The daily readings will be designed to help you create a habit of educating and preparing you and your family for the Blessing. Content of the readings will include God's words, the value of the Blessing, and the Matching Process.
The daily readings are critical to helping your family get on the same page (literally!).
Can I join by myself (without a family member)?
We encourage families to take this course together, but participants are definitely welcome to join alone (without their parents or child). Regardless of your situation, you will find this program very beneficial!
Can we meet a potential partner through the course?
For singles, the focus of the discussions is primarily to get to know each other as brothers and sisters in a group setting. If you decide to pursue a Matching Process, that is a possibility too, as long as your Matching Team is on the same page.
Can First-Generation candidates participate?
The content is primarily designed for families going through the Family Matching Process, but first-generation candidates are welcome to join, and are encouraged to join with their Matching Supporter.
Is this for Singles or Parents?
We encourage families to take this course together, (parent and child), but participants are welcome to join individually without their child or parent involved.
How much does it cost?
The program is free for MatchNet members. Otherwise, the cost is $75 per participant for this 6-week program. If you are joining as a family, it is $75 for the entire family.
If you're single and want the best start to your path to the Matching & Blessing, then this is the course for you! We encourage participants to join together with their parents, but we also welcome you by yourself.
You will have a weekly opportunity to meet and connect with other singles in a group setting. The purpose of the connection is to get to know each other as brothers and sisters. If you decide to pursue a Matching Process, that is a possibility too, as long as your Matching Team is on the same page.
The content is primarily designed for people going through the Family Matching Process, but first-generation candidates are welcome to join. First-generation candidates are strongly encouraged to participate together with their Matching Supporter.
