When crises happen in your community, what are the steps you can take as community leaders to support Blessed families? Join Debby Gullery as she gives insight, information, and advice when you find yourself in these critical situations.

Debby Gullery has over 25 years of experience in the field of marriage and relationship education. She has developed content for and taught seminars on character and core value development, marriage preparation, and marriage enrichment. She worked for 6 years as the Director of Counseling for the national BFM and currently has her own practice coaching individuals and couples. She is the author of Small Steps to Bigger Love: A Practical Guide to Marriage as a Spiritual Practice (2015).

This session outlines a practical and providential approach to sharing the Blessing with 30,000 people and supporting True Mother's vision to reach 1/3 of the world. Benjy will discuss the direction our national movement is going to reach more people.

Benjy's passion and profession is Internet marketing and content creation. He has been creating content for the Web since 2012, and has been doing marketing for National HQ since 2014.

*This session will be 1 hour and is located at: https://zoom.us/j/99914296643

Real listening is more than a set of skills. We frequently sabotage our ability to hear the other person by making them wrong. In this session, we will examine how we make other people wrong, what we can and cannot control in a relationship, and how we can promote better relationships through practicing “all is well.” This session is interactive. You will practice these techniques in breakout groups.

David Burgess joined the Unification Church in 1977. In 2000 David joined the American Freedom Coalition (AFC) as the Regional Director the Northwest based in Seattle. David and some of his other former AFC founded Origins Partnership and conducted two mentorship seminars for younger Unificationists. In 2016, they invited a group of young Unificationist leaders to a meeting that, with God’s intervention, turned into Project Phoenix.

Maike Tijsterman is from Germany and studied literature and art education. A couple years ago she had the wish to find a way to genuinely connect with the older generation of her community. In 2018 she heard of Project Phoenix and immediately wanted them to come to Europe. She organized a German team to collaborate with the American team, and started a wave of communities being amazed by the connection they felt for each other after the event. Now that many countries here are asking for Project Phoenix, she wants to help bring it to life.

Leadership Master Classes from 3-3:45 PM EST

This session will be located at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89022977595

What if all the vitality and creativity of our young adult communities was engaged, blossoming our neighborhoods into vibrant gardens of scintillating vivaciousness? What if the wisdom, traditions and culture of True Parents was delivered in an irresistibly delicious package prepared by the next generation? Welcoming the next wave of Unificationists to make their unique offering to God’s Providence is the key to our future! “Making Space for Disengaged Young Adults” will explore how YUM (Young Unificationist Ministry) has used the silver lining of quarantine over the last year to broaden its outreach to young adults nationwide.

Joe Leonard has raised his family in Little Falls, New Jersey and served as the Young Adult Minister in the Clifton Family Church for the past 15 years. He teaches a character education program in public schools that supports students in making healthy relationship decisions leading to a happy life, and a happy family. He has been Blessed to his wife Makiko for 25 years and they have three children.

Serving as ministry leader requires a lot of self sacrifice in order to serve those in your care. It can feel like no matter how much you give, it's never enough, and as a result you neglect your own personal care in order to do more for others. Sound familiar? What if I told you that caring well for your self was the key to caring well for others? 10+ years of ministry leadership has taught me that self-care is essential for success as a ministry leader. Join this breakout to learn tips and tricks that I've learned over the years for good self care while serving in ministry. Enjoy a little self-care during the breakout, and set some intentions for your self-care going forward.

Rev. Crescentia DeGoede is currently serving as the Pastor of the HPHC of D3 and Clifton for the last 1.5 years, and was serving as the Director of the BFM for 6 years prior to that. She and her husband Leighton have been married for 10 years and have a 6, 4 and 1 year old. Personal time is hard to come by, let alone taking time for self-care, but she's been managing to build it in regularly, and she and her ministries have been much better for it.

This class will identify and examine the primary cause of spousal conflicts and explore methodology and process you can employ for effective conflict resolution as a facilitator. Specific tools and their application will be introduced not only to remove the roadblocks but for couples to attain sustained spiritual and relationship growth.

Peter and Klara Chen have been involved in conflict resolution of 1st and 2nd generation blessed couples and families for the past 16 years. Their unique approach of integrating scientific and spiritual principles to raise their consciousness level has produced many desired outcomes.

This class will briefly cover common mental health conditions and types of mental health providers. This class will also explore barriers (including health insurance and stigmas) to accessing services and the advocacy role that pastors, mentors, youth leaders, and BFM volunteers can take in linking individuals, couples, and families with professional mental health supports including therapy, couples or marriage counseling, and psychiatric support.

Wendy Matos is a full-time Professional School Counselor at a middle school, holds her M.S. in Counseling and is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a major advocate for normalizing mental health counseling as healthy practice for all individuals, couples and families as they grow through this world.

Additional Master Class from 4-5:30 PM EST

This masterclass is 1.5 hours long.

In a world where people are more divided than ever on so many issues, sexuality has become a topic that is more complicated and confusing than ever - especially for people of faith. This presentation is about understanding the framework of our culture’s modern views on sexuality and how to live with Heavenly Parent’s heart in this present era.

Andrew Love has been a member of High Noon since its inception in 2016, has spoken about heavenly sexuality within our movement all over the world, and has mentored many people in developing a healthy relationship with sexuality.

Benjy was a youth pastor and then pastor for 5 years and has been helping men and women prepare for marriage 9 years. The topic of SSA has always come up in conversations, but it has been difficult to discuss in a productive way.
